Code-Division Multiple-Access Mobile Communication Systems

P. Schramm, J. Huber

Code-Division Multiple-Access (CDMA) is a promising technique for future cellular mobile communication systems. The spread spectrum signaling leads to a high resistance against distortions caused by multipath propagation and fading. This and some other advantages promise that cellular CDMA systems will have a higher capacity than systems with other multiple access methods. In this project, various aspects of CDMA systems are considered. One main point is the investigation and parameter optimization of low complexity implementations with channel coding and channel estimation.
